The Magician explores the moment when potential becomes action — when imagination, knowledge, and intention come together to create something new.
Inspired by the first card of the tarot Major Arcana, the work represents the ability to transform what already exists into something meaningful. The Magician stands at the threshold between possibility and creation, holding the tools, experience, and instinct needed to shape his own reality.
Yet beneath this sense of control lies a quieter question: how much of what we create comes from our authentic essence, and how much is shaped by the identities we construct as we grow? Through the presence of toys and symbolic imagery, the work brings together the intuitive world of childhood with the knowledge and technical ability acquired through adulthood.
The Magician ultimately speaks about creative agency — not simply having the tools to create, but learning how to use them without losing the instinct that made us want to create in the first place.
Available as a framed original and limited edition fine art prints.
