The Tower and The Star (Original)

$1,250.00

The Tower & The Star explores the relationship between destruction and renewal — the collapse of what we have constructed around ourselves and the possibility of discovering something more essential underneath.

The work brings together two archetypes that I found reflected in my own process: The Tower and The Star. Their presence creates a dialogue between rupture and hope, between the structures we build around our identities and the possibility of letting them fall away. The star appears within the destruction as a symbol of guidance, renewal, and the essential self that remains when everything else falls away.

The use of a toy introduces a tension between the vulnerability of childhood and the complexity of adulthood. The work suggests that transformation does not necessarily mean becoming someone new, but rather dismantling what has been constructed around us so that something more authentic can emerge.

By bringing The Tower and The Star together in a single piece, the work plays with the idea that destruction and renewal are not opposing forces. The fall itself creates the space for reconnection — and for rediscovering something that was there all along.
